Michael Bishop
Michael Bishop, the former Kansas State Quarterback, and 2023 College Football Hall of Fame inductee was named the Titans’ new head football coach February 2021.
Michael
is a former American and Canadian football quarterback. He was drafted in the seventh round of the
1999 NFL Draft by the New England Patriots.
Bishop graduated from Willis High School in Willis, Texas, where he was
an outstanding football, and baseball player as well. He was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the
28th round of the 1995 Major League Baseball Draft.
Bishop
earned his Bachelor of Science degree in the Summer of 2011 and received
countless awards and national recognition during his time as the quarter back
for the Wildcats.
In
the last five years, Bishop has coached for numerous youth football
organizations and been actively involved with various aspects of recruiting, training,
and player development on and off the field.
He also coached at the middle
school and high school levels as well as provided support in academics and
various roles.
Bishop
is married to his wife, LaSonya, and they are the proud parents of two
daughters.
