Dabney Hicks is in his sixth year with Legacy. He is a passionate and committed professional coach. His coaching career has been shaped by a constant commitment to personal growth, a deep understanding of human psychology, and a genuine desire to witness others thrive.

His expertise spans a wide array of areas, including leadership and confidence development, career transitions, youth skill development, elite skill development, wellness, education, and career advancement.
Hicks began his coaching at M14Hoops, under the guidance of the great coach and mentor, Nick Daniels. He relocated from Indiana to Houston, Texas, where he seized an opportunity to partner with the Legacy School of Sports and Science. He proudly serves as the Middle School Program Director and Head Coach for the boys’ premier basketball team, and has been an essential part of building the middle school program.
