Angel Romero
Angel Romero, was named the Titans’ new head baseball coach May 2022.
Romero brings a wealth of experience to Legacy coupled with an extensive, and diverse network of athlete and coaches at the collegiate and professional levels.
His previous experience includes associate scout for the Toronto Blue Jays and Head Coach for the Orioles scout team. Angel has proudly placed over 50 baseball players to play at the collegiate level, with four (4) of them making it to the Major League Baseball (MLB).
Romero has over 11 years of experience as the head coach and director of the World Baseball Academy program.
Romero attended Imperial Valley College briefly before moving back to Puerto Rico, and signing to play Double A ball, at 18 years old for Manati, Puerto Rico his hometown team. He achieved an impressive ERA of 1.27, during his first year pitching.
Romero's baseball career has carried him far and instilled a life-long passion for the game that is contagious and his coaching philosophy is to develop outstanding athletic ability, a strong work ethic and character among those he mentors.
