Titans Are Headed to State!

TITANS ARE HEADED TO STATE!

Spring, TX (April 29, 2021) -- The Legacy School of Sports Sciences' baseball and softball teams are heading to the TCAL State Tournament taking place Thursday and Friday, April 30-May 1 at the Franklin Ranch Community park located in Franklin, Texas. The Titans are participating in the league's postseason tournament event for the first time. Head Baseball Coach Rob Richardson has led the Titans to an outstanding season. The team has performed well all season, the Titans are led by a trio of Sophomores, Aiden Garza, AJ Henderson, and Kolvin Davis. Garza is the team's dual threat. He leads the team in batting average (.529) and pitching(1.61 ERA). While Henderson and Davis are batting .467 and .455 respectively. Head Softball Coach, Rayla Robinson and the Lady Titans enter the tournament with a team batting average of .369 and a pitching ERA of 4.01. The leading hitter for the Lady Titians is sophomore Adrianna DeLeon, she leads the team with a .476 batting average, followed by CeCe Gonzales and Aliyanah Boggess .318 and .310 respectively. Cassidy Jordan and Aliyanah Boggess have provided solid and consistent pitching all season long. In a season, riddled with COVID-related rescheduling, postponements and/or cancellations altogether throughout the regular season, the Titans are excited to participate in the postseason and are seeking to capture this year's state title. ========================= Legacy the School of Sport Sciences, located in Spring, Texas, is the first state accredited charter school in the state of Texas that focuses on the professions within athletics.
