Spring, TX (May 7, 2021) - Legacy Varsity Head Coach Rahsaan Cato will coach the Green team in the 2021 TCAL 3A Boys Basketball All-Star game, which will take place Saturday, May 8 in San Antonio. Cato earned the honor, after Legacy's varsity (3A) boys team captured this year's state title, the first for the program. Regarding his selection, Cato said, being selected from amongst all of the talented coaches in TCAL to me is a testament to perseverance in the face of obstacles that none of us could have dreamed of 24 months ago. The selection means that I am serving my school and program coordinator in a manner that is reflective of the level of excellence we are trying to maintain as our standard. The selection means that the young men placed in my care achieved in ways that made them and our program look like a supremely focused group. I'm honored and humbled by this opportunity and I hope that I am able to represent my school, family, program administrator and fellow coaches in a honorable and distinguished manner. And I want to win, again!. Cato seeks to continue his winning ways, leading the Green team to victory, this Saturday.
